Members

Sliema Wanderers FC player Massimo Grima has been handed a three-month ban after failing a doping test.

FA suspension
Grima tested positive for a banned substance after Sliema's away game against Pietà Hotspurs FC in April and has been suspended for three months by the Malta Football Association. The sanction will take effect on 1 August.

Slimming pills
The 23-year-old Grima has admitted taking slimming pills around the time of the test. Maltese champions Sliema will play their Latvian counterparts FC Skonto in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round on 16 and 23 July.
