Croatian forward Sasa Bjelanovic has joined AC Perugia on loan from Como Calcio.
One-year loan
The 24-year-old former Croatian Under-21 forward, who spent part of last season on loan at another Serie A side, AC Chievo Verona, will spend the whole of next season with Perugia, having signed a one-year deal until June 2004. Bjelanovic scored six goals in 27 appearances last season for Como and Chievo.
Intertoto entry
Perugia, who finished in tenth position in the Italian top flight, will enter the UEFA Intertoto Cup at the third round stage. In contrast, having finished in 17th place in the 18-team league, Como were relegated to Serie B.
