Liudas Rumbutis has replaced Vladimir Gevorkyan to become coach of FC Belshina Bobruisk for a second time.
Poor form
Gevorkyan stood down after Belshina, who won the Belarus title in 2001, found themselves in 12th place after the first eleven rounds of the season. "I warned Gevorkyan that his future at the club depended on the results he produced in June," said chairman Oleg Gusha. "We lost three games and drew once, plus we also went out of the cup."
Positive pledge
The 47-year-old Rumbutis, who coached Belshina in 1998 and 1999, will be in charge until the end of the season and then have his position reviewed. "I will shake up the side to produce better results in the second half of the championship," said Rumbutis. Gevorkyan is set to remain at the club, either an assistant coach or in an administrative role.
