Article body
Bakhva Tedeev has been handed back the reins at troubled FC Spartak-Alania Vladikavkaz - the fourth change of coach this season at the Russian Premier-Liga side.
Second chance
Tedeev was replaced by Revaz Dzodzuashvili before the start of the season but now, following Nikolay Khudiev's dismissal, gets a second chance at Spartak-Alania, who sit second-bottom of the table after eleven defeats from 15 matches.
Ins and outs
Dzodzuashvili, a former Georgia and Latvia coach, was dismissed in May, and replaced by Alexander Yanovski who in turn made way for Khudiev, whose contract was terminated after a run of three straight defeats.
Old boy
Tedeev is a former Spartak-Alania captain, who was a fixture in the first team for much of the 1990s and won the league title with the club in 1995. He first took the helm as coach in 2002, when he replaced Vladimir Gutsaev and preserved the club's place in the élite. He subsequently lost his job as Dzodzuashvili was brought on board.
New chairman
The reappointment of Tedeev is not the only change at the club as chairman Mihail Shatalov has been sacked and replaced by Sergei Takoev. More significant still perhaps is the news that Alexander Dzasokhov, the president of North Osetia, the region where the club are based, is to become directly involved in the management of the club.
Personal intervention
"Given the situation we're in, I will personally intervene to solve the club's problems", said Dzasokhov when introducing the new chairman, Takoev.
