'Main objective'
The 43-year-old has signed a one-year deal to replace Bulgarian Atanas Marinov, who joined Valletta FC at the end of the 2002/03 season. "Our main objective will be to secure our Premier League status," he said. "It is quite a challenge."
Familiar ground
The former Marsa FC, Pietà Hotspurs FC and Lija Athletic FC trainer returns to the Victor Tedesco stadium for a second spell as coach. Curmi will be assisted by Hamrun's veteran striker Stefan Sultana, who will combine coaching duties with playing ones.
