The Premiership club have the option to buy the 24-year-old at the end of the coming season. "I was going to stay at Lens, but Leeds told me they wanted me and made an offer to Lens," said Camara. "The club told me I could chose and I am very happy to come to England. I know I will be a success. I think I will be in the first team, otherwise I would not have come here."
Previous clubs
Camara started his career with AS Saint-Etienne before moving to Internazionale FC, but he failed to make a single appearance for the Italian side. After a loan period with Empoli FC, Camara switched to SC Bastia before further spells with Olympique de Marseille and Lens. At Marseille he won his only cap for France in the FIFA Confederations Cup.
