March reappointment
Kurnev was reappointed at Darida in March, a month after the same club sacked him, but this time having stepped down he has opted to switch to Slavia. "I hoped that after leaving Darida I would get some job offers but I did not expect it to happen so fast," said Kurnev, who led Darida to promotion in 2000.
Financial problems
Slavia, champions in 1996 and 2000, are 14th in the 16-team top division after 16 matches, just a point outside the relegation zone. Financial problems forced the sale of key players at the club known until 1997 as FC MPKC Mozyr.
