Tomas has joined Fenerbahçe on a year's loan with the option for a permanent move in March. The 27-year-old made his international debut against Poland in 1998 and was a member of his nation's FIFA World Cup last year. He previously played for NK Istra and NK Dinamo Zagreb in his homeland before joining Vicenza Calcio in 2000 and moving on to Como two years later.
