Change of scene
The 52-year-old has been assistant coach to Ilija Petkovic with Serbia and Montengro's Under-21 team and was heading the Under-19 team. But since Petkovic took over the full national squad, Tomic felt he also needed a change.
Europe the goal
"I started missing the day-to-day duties. I am convinced Zeleznik are the best place for me and they have the quality to challenge at the top of the table. We want to qualify for one of the European competitions next season. I hope we will achieve that," said Tomic after signing a two-year-contract.
