Norway striker Tore André Flo has agreed a move from Sunderland AFC to Italian club AC Siena.
Medical passed
Siena, preparing for their first season in Italy's top flight, reached an agreement with Sunderland on Friday and the deal was formally completed after Flo passed a medical. The 30-year-old has signed a two-year contract.
Chiesa link
Flo had a disappointing time at Sunderland who were relegated from the Premiership last season. The former Chelsea FC forward joined the club from Glasgow Rangers FC last year. He will become Siena's second major signing of the close season after they secured the services of striker Enrico Chiesa from S.S. Lazio.
'A new experience'
"I'm really happy to play for Siena and I look forward to a new experience in Italian football," said Flo. "I hope to score many goals and help the team to avoid relegation even if I know that the Italian league is really difficult. I haven't seen much of the town but it seems really beautiful. As regards the team I only know Chiesa."
