Vítor Oliveira is to become coach of Club Académica de Coimbra for the second time following the resignation of Artur Jorge just two games into the new season.
Fair start
Académica lie in sixth place in the Portuguese SuperLiga following a defeat by Sporting Clube de Portugal on the first weekend of the championship and a win against UD Leiria.
'Personal reasons'
There is nothing to suggest that results were behind the decision and president João Moreno explained: "Artur has left because of personal reasons and in the end we decided this was the best course of action for both parties."
Oliveira return
A former Portugal national coach, Jorge replaced João Alves at Académica in December 2002, helping the team to stay in the top flight. Oliveira previously coached the side from 1995-97, when he steered the team to promotion.
