Jochemsen blow
The Swiss international forward has joined as a replacement for another summer signing, Arco Jochemsen, who earlier this week was ruled out of action for around six months after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.
'Positive impression'
N’Kufo, who has won six caps for Switzerland, subsequently spent Tuesday and Wednesday on trial with the Eredivisie side, and the Dutch club then agreed a loan deal for the 28-year-old, with an option to buy, with Hannover on Friday. "He has given me a positive impression," said Twente coach René Vandereycken.
Scoring record
N’Kufo, who was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo but holds a Swiss passport, and scored 20 goals in 49 games for Lausanne-Sports and seven in 19 for FC Luzern. He then moved to Germany, where he enjoyed more success with 1. FSV Mainz 05 before joining Hannover.
