Members

A 2-1 win put Bayer 04 Leverkusen top while FC Bayern München came back for a 3-3 draw with Hannover 96.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen soared to the top of the German Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory against promoted Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

Frommer opener
The 2002 UEFA Champions League finalists, who spent most of last season languishing at the wrong end of the table, are the only side to have collected six points from their opening two matches. But they had to come from behind to claim their latest victory after Nico Frommer gave Frankfurt a half-time lead.

Own goal
Bernd Schneider put the visitors back on level terms and an 84th-minute own goal from Geri Cipi handed Leverkusen the win. In the day's other game, VfB Stuttgart were held to a goalless draw by Hertha BSC Berlin at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion.

Heart-stopping Hargreaves
The pick of the Saturday action came at the Niedersachsenstadion where a 90th-minute free-kick from English international Owen Hargreaves gave FC Bayern München a last-gasp share of the spoils in a stunning 3-3 draw with ten-man Hannover 96.

Red card
The home side had established a two-goal lead thanks to early strikes from Nebojsa Krupnikovic and Jirí Stajner and although Michael Ballack pulled a goal back, Thomas Christiansen restored the advantage before half-time. However, Claudio Pizarro increased the pressure on Hannover with a 49th-minute goal and once Mohammadou Idrissou was sent off for elbowing Thomas Linke, the stage was set for Hargreaves to pounce.

Freiburg comeback
The spoils were also shared at the Dreisamstadion where promoted SC Freiburg came back from two goals down to rescue a draw against FC Hansa Rostock. Rade Prica and Martin Max had given the visitors a healthy lead but Soulaima Coulibaly's penalty and an 87th-minute Zlatan Bajramovic goal levelled the scores.

Keeper dismissed
1. FC Kaiserslautern recorded a 2-1 win at 1. FC Köln despite having goalkeeper Tim Wiese, who saved an earlier Dirk Lottner penalty, sent off midway through the second half. Marius Ebbers had given the Cologne side the lead but goals from Miroslav Klose and Dimitrios Grammozis either side of the red card swung the result in the visitors' favour.

Rosický shines
The biggest win of the day went to BV Borussia Dortmund, whose 4-0 victory against VfL Wolfsburg came courtesy of Tomáš Rosický, who scored a goal in each half. Marcio Amoroso and Jan Koller also got on the scoresheet. Elsewhere, the games between TSV 1860 München and FC Schalke 04, SV Werder Bremen against VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach and VfL Bochum 1848 versus Hamburger SV all ended in 1-1 draws.
