Turkish international defender Servet Çetin has completed his €1.4m move to Fenerbahçe from Denizlispor.
Three-year contract
The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract with his new club after his switch from their Turkish Super League rivals. He joins a side currently fifth in the table, having previously had spells with Kartalspor and Göztepe. Çetin made his full international debut against the Czech Republic in April and then played in the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Ban lifted
Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe have won their appeal against having to play a home game at a neutral venue after crowd trouble at their match at Trabzonspor last month. They will instead be fined €1700, while Trabzonspor president Özkan Sümer, whose side were penalised €700, has announced his resignation, although club officials are hoping he will stay.
