Second spell
The 33-year-old former FC Steaua Bucuresti, SL Benfica and FC Porto player was in charge at Politehnica for the first nine games of the 2002/03 season, before falling out with club president Anton Dobos.
Visan departure
Since then, four men have occupied the Politehnica hot seat, but the latest incumbent Viorel Visan resigned at the weekend with the team having taken just eight points from their opening eight matches of the league campaign.
'Money not important'
Panduru, whose contract has no end date, said: "As long as I get results, I will stay. If not, I will leave. Money is not important. I have come back to improve the team's play and to satisfy the supporters, who deserve better."
