Short-lived promotion
Only last Monday, Dzhorov was promoted from youth to first team to replace Kostadin Kostadinov, who moved upstairs to become technical director after the club won just two of their opening nine Bulgarian Premier League matches.
Pachev takes charge
The former Botev defender Trifon Pachev, who was also Kostadinov's assistant, has taken over coaching duties. He will preside over the team for the first time tomorrow, when Botev play second division PFC Belite Orli Pleven in the Bulgarian Cup.
