New arrival
The 58-year-old former Brøndby IF, SL Benfica, Vejle BK and Aberdeen FC coach has returned to his home country to take over from Ole Mørk, who was sacked after a poor run of results for the Superliga newcomers.
West delighted
"We are happy to welcome Ebbe Skovdahl as our new head coach. We are confident that with his experience, his attitude, his vision and his way of handling players, he will secure Frem's future in the Superliga," Frem chairman Filip West said.
Tough challenge
Skovdahl has been out of coaching since leaving Aberdeen last November but faces a tough task as he aims to lift spirits at Frem. The Copenhagen-based club are eleventh in the 12-team Superliga having won only three of their eleven games this season.
Frem atmosphere
However, Skovdahl remained upbeat about his prospects, saying: "I see it as my first goal to keep Frem in the Superliga, and I am looking forward to working here. I feel it is a club with the right kind of atmosphere."
