Six defeats in succession
Six straight defeats have proved too much for the management of BK Frem, who decided to sack Mørk today despite the fact he led the club back to the top flight last season.
Director's explanation
"With the first third of the season gone and the club in the relegation zone, with only nine points from eleven matches, the board of directors had to take steps which should ensure that Frem end the campaign among the ten best teams and avoid relegation," Frem director Finn Kokholm explained.
Mørk surprised
Mørk himself expressed surprise at the decision. "It is completely incomprehensible," he said. "I received no indications that I was about to be fired." Frem are the third club in succession to have dispensed with Mørk's services, after Akademisk Boldklub and Sweden's Trelleborgs FF also fired him.
