FK Jablonec 97 have appointed Petr Rada as coach after the sacking of Vlastimil Palicka.
Final defeat
The club decided to end Palicka's two-year reign after a 3-1 defeat at bottom side FK Chmel Blšany, which meant they have now gone seven matches without a win and lie 14th in the Czech first division. A former Czech international defender, Rada was previously in charge of SK Slavia Praha, FK Teplice and FK Viktoria Plzen, as well as assisting former national coach Jozef Chovanec.
Fifth change
Jablonec are the fifth side in the division to change their coach this season after 1. FC Synot, FK Viktoria Žižkov, Blšany and SFC Opava.
