Article body
FC Chernomorets Krasnodarskiy Kray head coach Sergei Pavlov has resigned with the club in severe danger of relegation from the Russian Premier League.
Gamula returns
Club chairman Georgi Antonyan has accepted the resignation, and announced that Pavlov's predecessor, Igor Gamula, who had remained on the coaching staff, will return to the helm. Pavlov only replaced Gamula three months ago, but lost nine of his ten games in charge, leaving Chernomorets five points adrift from safety.
Survival hope
After losing 4-2 to FC Torpedo Moskva at the weekend, Chernomorets must win their two remaining games and hope for FC Uralan Elista and FC Torpedo-Metallurg Moskva to lose their matches.
