Danny Murphy converted a last-gasp penalty to give Liverpool FC victory at Fulham FC.

Danny Murphy maintained his composure to convert a last-minute penalty and snatch all three points for Liverpool FC in their 2-1 win against Fulham FC at Loftus Road in the Premiership on Sunday.

Boa Morte off
The England midfield player scored the vital spot-kick after team-mate Florent Sinama-Pongolle was tripped in the area by Zat Knight. Moments after the winning goal, Fulham's Luis Boa Morte took his anger out on 19-year-old Sinama-Pongolle, bringing the French youngster down with a dangerous challenge that earned him a straight red card.

Heskey opener
The visitors had gone ahead through Emile Heskey's 17th-minute opener - a cool volley from former Fulham defender Steve Finnan's cross - but Louis Saha soon equalised from close range and the game seemed to be heading for a draw until Knight's clumsy challenge at the death.

Basement boost
In the day's other game, two goals in the last quarter of an hour handed Leicester City FC a 2-0 win against struggling Blackburn Rovers FC and moved them off the bottom, ahead of their opponents and Leeds United AFC on goal difference.

Brilliant Bent
Dwight Yorke and Andrew Cole missed chances in both halves and the visitors rued their luck when former Blackburn striker Marcus Bent hooked Leicester into a 76th-minute lead. As the visitors pushed forward in search of an equaliser, Steve Howey volleyed Leicester's second to make sure of the points.
