After receiving both the referee and delegate's reports of the match, which Chelsea won 2-0, UEFA confirmed that supporters of the Turkish club will be charged with improper conduct, the setting-off of flares and missile-throwing.
February hearing
The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will discuss the case at its next hearing on 21 February 2004. The rearranged Group G fixture was played at the Arena Aufschalke in Germany on Tuesday 9 December because of security concerns following recent events in Turkey.
