Mönchengladbach move for Broich

The Germany Under-21 midfield player Thomas Broich will join VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach at the beginning of January.

The 22-year-old, who had also attracted interest from TSV 1860 München, joins from second division SV Wacker Burghausen for a transfer fee thought to be worth around €300,000. He will sign in the next few days although the length of the contract is still unknown. Mönchengladbach, are currently in 13th place in the Bundesliga with only five wins from 17 games.
