Kezman makes his move

Members

ESM Golden Shoe: PSV Eindhoven's Mateja Kezman jumped 30 places after scoring four times on Saturday.

Second place
The Serbo-Montenegrin international was in devastating form in the 7-0 Eredivisie defeat of FC Volendam and now sits in 13th place. Kezman scored 35 goals last season and just missed out on the title as Europe's leading scorer behind Roy Makaay.

Gap closed
Elsewhere, Alan Shearer and Djibril Cissé each took advantage of a blank week for Ailton to move within two points of the fourth-placed SV Werder Bremen forward. Shearer registered for Newcastle United FC in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Liverpool FC, while Cissé was on target as AJ Auxerre won 2-1 at AC Ajaccio.

Only the leading five countries (Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England) in the UEFA Ranking have two as their multiplier. This is to emphasise the difference in (international) performance level between clubs from those countries and those from other countries.

A player cannot first play in a summer league (e.g. Norway) and then in a winter league (e.g. Spain) and combine the points total for each season.
