Late turnaround
Malatyaspor's late equaliser prevented Konyaspor recording their first victory since defeating Galatasaray SK 1-0 in mid-September, and the fact that his team conceded twice in the last five minutes proved too much for Özkara to take. Konyaspor lie in 13th place in the table with 15 points, just three points above the relegation zone.
Call answered
The 48-year-old coach said: "I have never had such a season in all my managerial career. Today we lost [two points] because of stress resulting from previous failures. Until the 85th minute the fans were hailing me as an 'emperor' - but then they chanted for my resignation. I am now answering their call."
