Joint project
The project will be a joint affair between Elfsborg, the city of Borås and a number of private companies who will act as sponsors. The stadium will have a 14,500 capacity and the plan is for it to be completed in time for the 2005 season. It is expected that a third generation artificial-turf pitch will be laid at the new arena.
Chairman's delight
Elfsborg chairman Sune Svensson said: "We're grateful and delighted that we will be able to use the country's newest and most modern stadium. In less than a year the politicians and participants in our initial discussions have put words into action."
