Swedish champions Djurgårdens IF have agreed a four-year deal with Tobias Hysén, son of the former Sweden and Liverpool FC defender Glenn Hysén.
High priority
The 21-year-old striker has spent the last three years at BK Häcken, scoring 12 goals in 53 matches. "He's been very high on our list for some time, and we're really pleased that we've managed to sign him," said Bo Lundqvist, Djurgården's director of sport.
Champions League
Hysén is expected to play on the left of a three-pronged attack at Djurgården, who won the 2003 Allsvenskan by seven points from Hammarby. The Stockholm club will compete in the second qualifying round of the 2004/05 UEFA Champions League.
