FC Dinamo Moskva's Czech coach Jaroslav Hrebík has signed compatriots Martin Hasek and Martin Zboncák.
Midfield experience
Hasek and Zboncák, both experienced midfield players, have agreed contracts for two and three years respectively with Dinamo, who finished sixth in the Russian Premier League in 2003. Since his appointment in November, Hrebík has made clear his wish to reinforce the Dinamo team by signing Czech players.
Austrian challenge
The 34-year-old Hasek spent six seasons with FC Slovan Liberec and four with AC Sparta Praha before his transfer to FK Austria Wien in 2001. Hasek, who has won 14 international caps, joined SK Sturm Graz in summer 2003.
Record transfer
Zboncák, who is 28, helped Slovan to the league title in 2001/02, and moved to Sparta for €800,000 – a Czech league record – in January, but failed to win a regular place in the starting lineup.
