PFC CSKA Sofia have agreed a deal to sign Bulgarian international Stoiko Sakaliev from PFC Naftex Burgas.

The long-running transfer saga involving Stoiko Sakaliev has finally come to an end, with PFC CSKA Sofia agreeing to take the Bulgarian international on loan from PFC Naftex Burgas until the end of the year.

'CSKA dream'
The Bulgarian champions also have the option to sign the 24-year-old forward on a three-and-a-half year contract from November. "Obviously, I am happy," said Sakaliev at a press conference today. "I have always dreamt of playing for CSKA. I will try to score at least 21 goals as my shirt number is 21."

Championship challenge
He continued: "I would like also to thank my former club. I am leaving a lot of good friends there and I wish Naftex all the best." CSKA are second in the Bulgarian top flight, two points behind the leaders PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
