Contract signed
The 33-year-old, who was capped 41 times by his country, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract at the club where he made his name between 1993 and 1996, winning two Yugoslavian titles and one Yugoslavian Cup.
'The best choice'
Former FK Rad, Atalanta BC and Juventus FC right-back Mirkovic has been without a club since June 2003 when his Fenerbahçe SK contract expired. He said: "I had several offers from abroad, but age obliges me to be careful about choosing a new club. The time to prove myself has passed. It is time for me to help. Partizan are the best choice for me and they have a great chance of returning to the UEFA Champions League."
