Pierre van Hooijdonk scored twice as Fenerbahçe SK cruised to a 4-1 defeat of Rizespor.

New Brazilian signing Márcio Nobre scored twice as Fenerbahçe SK outclassed Rizespor 4-1 at home in a postponed Turkish Superleague match on Sunday to go second in the standings behind undefeated leaders Besiktas JK.

Dream start
Nobre, who joined the Istanbul side from reigning Brazilian champions Cruzeiro EC during the winter transfer window, collected his first official goals for the club in the 27th and 86th minutes.

Dutch double
Dutch striker Pierre van Hooijdonk was also twice on target, slamming in his first before the break from the penalty spot and the second with nine minutes remaining. Rizespor's consolation arrived courtesy of a powerfully-struck 75th-minute effort from Klodian Duro.

Miserable afternoon
Two dismissals capped a miserable afternoon for the away side. Koray Avci was sent off in the 39th minute for the foul which resulted in the penalty and Murat Yigiter was given his marching orders in the second half.
