Article body
FC Twente have agreed a deal for forward Dimitri Shoukov.
'Versatile footballer'
The 28-year-old Russian attacker has agreed a three-year contract with the Eredivisie side, after his deal at Willem II expires at the end of the season. "Dmitri is a multifunctional attacker," said Twente's technical director Johan Plageman. "He can play left, right and in the centre behind the striker. He has a lot of scoring potential plus experience."
Fifth departure
Shoukov has spent five years with Willem II, and had previously played for SBV Vitesse, NAC Breda and PFC CSKA Moskva. He become the fifth player to leave the club in a relatively short space of time, with Denny Landzaat, Kew Jaliens, Joris Mathijsen and Tarik Sektioui all agreeing to join AZ Alkmaar.
