Three-year deal
The 21-year-old midfield player joined Schalke in 1999 and worked his way up through the ranks to the first team. He has agreed a three-year contract at Bochum, who occupy fifth place in the Bundesliga, four points above Schalke in seventh.
Rising talent
Trojan is a regular for his country's U21 side, although he could not help them qualify for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals this summer. This season for Schalke, he has played seven times in the Bundesliga and twice in the UEFA Cup.
