Brief stay
Petravic was in charge of Zagreb for just 12 games, having replaced Zlatko Kranjcar earlier in the season. Those matches brought just one victory, four losses and seven draws. Zagreb occupy tenth place in the 12-team Croatian top flight, with 18 points from 20 games.
'Must-win match'
Bracun, who previously coached Rijeka and Slovenian side FC Koper as well as Zagreb, was aware of the size of the task ahead. "We don't have time to make big changes, because we have an important match against NK Osijek on Saturday," he said. "We must win that – otherwise, we could be in a very dangerous situation."
