Valladolid berth for Bakari

RC Lens's Ivorian forward Dagui Bakari has joined Real Valladolid CF on loan until the end of the season.

Ideal replacement
Valladolid, 15th in the Primera División, see Bakari as an ideal replacement for Aziz Makukula, the Portuguese striker on loan from FC Nantes Atlantique who has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury. The Spanish club have also secured an option to sign Bakari permanently at the end of the campaign.

UEFA Cup strikes
The 29-year-old has scored seven times this season - including three goals in six UEFA Cup matches - but is keen to play regular first-team football after losing his place in the Lens side in recent weeks.
