Limited impact at Ibrox

Belgian youth international Logan Bailly has extended his contract with KRC Genk. The 18-year-old has signed a new deal taking him up to the summer of 2008. Boro defender blow
In England, Middlesbrough FC's England Under-21 defender Andrew Davies will be sidelined for several months after breaking his leg in two places. The 19-year-old suffered the injury playing for Boro's reserves on Tuesday evening. He is believed to have broken his tibia and fibia, and could struggle to be fit for the start of the next Premiership season in August.

Cullmann out for Köln
The Bundesliga's bottom club, 1. FC Köln, will be without defender Carsten Cullmann for up to eight weeks. The 27-year-old Cullmann has undergone surgery on a persistent knee injury after scans revealed damage to the meniscus. Köln are seven points adrift at the foot of the table.
