Struggling Bundesliga side TSV 1860 München sacked coach Falko Götz after a 2-1 defeat at home to Hamburger SV on Saturday afternoon.

The result was 1860 München's third consecutive league defeat, and left the club fourth bottom in the standings and level on points with Hertha BSC Berlin, who occupy the third and final relegation place. There are five league games left this season.
