Free transfer
The 22-year-old Swedish international striker will link up with Brøndby when his contract with Feyenoord expires at the end of the Dutch season. He is currently on loan with another Eredivisie club, NAC Breda, but will be free to move to Denmark on 30 June.
European ambitions
"I am looking forward to playing at a top Danish club with European ambitions like Brøndby," said Elmander. "Through my previous visits to Brøndby I have a very good impression of the club and of the attacking football they play. I am looking forward to playing under Michael Laudrup and benefiting from his experience."
'Special ability'
Coach Laudrup was delighted to recruit the eight-times capped Elmander. "Even though we are focused on winning the Danish championship and defending the cup, we are happy to be able to start preparations for next season with a player who fits perfectly into the way of football I want to play," he said. "Elmander has a special ability to score goals which decide matches."
