Article body
Rizespor coach Yilmaz Vural walked out on the club immediately after their 1-0 defeat at the hands of relegation-threatened Akçaabat Sebatspor on Saturday.
Team talk
The 51-year-old revealed that a stormy half-time team talk was partially responsible for his decision to quit. "I have an impatient character and I sometimes take decisions without thinking about them," Vural said.
Damaged confidence
"We had prepared very well for the Sebatspor game but my players were not playing well, so I decided to try and motivate them. However, the conversation we had in the dressing room damaged the confidence between me and the players. I thought about resigning and when we lost the game I quit."
Relegation battle
The result left Rizespor in 13th place with 39 points while Sebatspor are 15th, one place and two points above the relegation zone.
