Rodriguez is Vardar's third coach this season, replacing Toni Jakimovski who had earlier succeeded Zoran Stratev. The club are fourth in the Macedonian First League.
Vast experience
The Vardar job is Rodriguez's first in Europe. However, the trainer has a wealth of experience having coached the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Liberia and Kuwait national teams as well as Brazilian sides SC Corinthians Paulista and CR Vasco de Gama.
