AaB and FCK set up Parken date

Aalborg BK eliminated Brøndby IF and FC København beat Odense BK in last night's Danish Cup semi-finals.

Sweeping counters
Despite having drawn 0-0 at home a fortnight ago, Brøndby travelled to Aalborg with confidence and it was Michael Laudrup's side who created the early chances, hitting the post on three occasions. AaB were more cutting in attack, however, David Nielsen and Christian Lundberg both finishing off sweeping counterattacks. Karsten Johansen finally got on the scoresheet for Brøndby in added time but there was no time for an equaliser.

FCK stroll
FCK were more comfortable winners against Odense BK, going through 7-3 on aggregate. The capital club won the first leg 3-1, and followed it up with a 4-0 Superleague victory at the Odense stadium last Saturday. The Lions again made their superiority count last night, Morten Bisgaard, Peter Møller, Alvaro Santos and Jesper Bech scoring in a 4-2 success.
