Vandenbergh heroics
With the European places already settled, there was nothing but pride at stake at the Fenixstadion but Kevin Vandenbergh scored twice in the last 20 minutes to pinch all three points for the visitors in a 3-2 win. Relegated Heusden had led through strikes from Takayuki Suzuki and Mike Origi either side of half-time but Faris Haroun quickly halved the deficit to pave the way for Vandenbergh's heroics.
Murcy pleases
At the top of the table, Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht finished their campaign with 81 points after drawing at home against seventh-place finishers RAA Louviéroise. Aruna Dindane gave Anderlecht a 72nd-minute lead but Mickäel Murcy levelled a minute from time to subdue the home fans.
Brugge breeze
There were no such problems for runners-up Club Brugge KV, who brushed past K. Lierse SK 3-0 at the Jan Breydelstadion. Simões De Oliviera's first-half goal was added to by Gert Verheyen and Nastja Ceh after the break to take their goal tally to 77 - the same as the champions. Third-placed R. Standard de Liège wrapped up their campaign with a 2-1 away win against KFC Germinal Beerschot at the Olympisch on Friday night.
Macquet magic
Relegated R. Antwerp FC also scored two away from home as they bowed out of the top flight, but they conceded five to rampant KSK Beveren, for whom Moussa Sanogo scored a second-half hat-trick. Elsewhere, a solitary Laurent Macquet goal ten minutes into R. Charleroi SC's home game against R. AEC Mons was enough to secure victory for Robert Waseige's side.
Jarakovic joy
In the day's other games, KVC Westerlo drew 1-1 at home against Cercle Brugge KSV, a result mirrored in the game between KSC Lokeren OV and R. Excelsior Mouscron at the Daknamstadion. KAA Gent ensured they finished in the top half with a 2-0 victory on their travels against K. Sint-Truidense VV, Ivica Jarakovic taking his tally to four goals in as many games by scoring twice.
