Tight finish
The SV Werder Bremen forward found the net once in the 6-0 victory against Hamburger SV that kept his side six points clear of FC Bayern München at the top of the Bundesliga. Ailton has three games left to play while Henry, who had a barren weekend as Arsenal FC drew 0-0 with Birmingham City FC in England, has just two games remaining.
On the up
Elsewhere, Mateja Kezman's 100th goal for PSV Eindhoven in the 5-0 win at FC Volendam moved him into the top ten while Andriy Shevchenko is up to sixth after the only goal in AC Milan's title-deciding defeat of AS Roma. Shevchenko is 14 points, or seven goals, behind Henry.

A player cannot first play in a summer league (eg Norway) and then in a winter league (eg Spain) and combine the points total for each season.
