European hopes
The Swede, who previously led the side in the 1998/99 season, replaced the sacked Enge Gerard on 24 November and was charged with guiding Iraklis into the UEFA Cup. However, they have failed to live up to their pre-season billing as a possible surprise package and now occupy eighth spot.
'Mediocre run'
Jingblad said: "I spoke to the president and we agreed that it would be for the best if I left. I love Iraklis and I believe that we could have managed more but the players were affected by their mediocre run this season and some changes were needed." Giorgos Karaiskos will take charge for the final two games.
