Korkeakunnas replaces Lyytikäinen

Surprise move
The move came as a surprise as Hämeenlinna had recorded four points from their first three matches of the season and secured their first victory on Sunday, after which Lyytikäinen had said: "The first win was very important and I am confident we will get something from the next couple of matches as well." Lyytikäinen joined the club in 2003, guiding them to eleventh place in the 14-team league.

Losing start
Hämeenlinna have not announced any reason for the decision, with chairman Arto Viljanen saying that "results or football matters" were not the main factor behind the change. However, Korkeakunnas's first game in charge resulted in a 5-1 defeat by FC Jazz.
