Disappointing results
The club took the decision to dismiss the 42-year-old Ursachi after a run of disappointing results in recent league games, and his assistant, Karas, has been asked to take charge until the end of the season. He was in charge for the goalless draw against FC Tiligul Tiraspol at the weekend.
European campaign
Ursachi took charge of Dacia in 2000, leading them to the Moldovan top flight after promotion two years later. A fourth-placed finish last season earned them a place in last summer's UEFA Intertoto Cup, but three recent defeats in a row in the league saw their chance of European qualification this season slip away.
