Article body
Four-point gap
The France striker struck the winner in Arsenal's 2-1 victory against Leicester City FC to make it 30 goals for the champions and 60 points in the ESM Golden Shoe standings. His nearest challenger remains Ailton of SV Werder Bremen, who scored his 28th of the season in the 6-2 defeat by Bayer 04 Leverkusen to remain four points adrift.
Three goals required
Ailton must score at least a hat-trick in Bremen's final Bundesliga match at SC Hansa Rostock next Saturday to take top spot from Henry. The only other challenger is AJ Auxerre's Djibril Cissé. However, the Frenchman needs four goals in Auxerre's final Ligue 1 match at OGC Nice on Sunday just to finish level with compatriot Henry.

Only the leading five countries (Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England) on the UEFA Ranking have two as their multiplier. This is to emphasise the difference in international performance level between clubs from those countries and those from the other countries.
A player cannot first play in a summer league (eg Norway) and then in a winter league (eg Spain) and combine the points total for each season.
