Article body
Title hopes
Jovic coached second division side FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje last season and has high hopes for his new club. "It's a great honour to coach Leotar, and although we've lost some crucial players, Leotar will be among the candidates for the title next season," the former OFK Beograd, FK Kikinda and FK Napredak Krusevac coach said.
Disappointing season
Former coach Vladimir Gacinovic left the club last month after Leotar finished a disappointing fourth place in the Bosnia-Herzegovnian Premier League, therefore failing to secure a berth in European competition for next season.
Zrinjski change
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Franjo Dzidic has been named as coach of NK Zrinjski, replacing Stjepan Deveric who parted company with the club following their relegation struggles last season.
Dzidic optimism
Dzidic is hopeful of a big improvement for the coming campaign. "We shouldn't find ourselves in a similar situation as last season, where we have to fight for our survival," he said. "Our place is at the top of the table. We have a good team and the club can challenger for honours next season."
