De Pedro bound for Blackburn

Two-year deal
De Pedro was a Real youth product and in 2002/03 claimed more assists than any other Primera División player as his club finished runners-up, qualifying for a UEFA Champions League campaign in which he appeared three times. The 30-year-old, capped 12 times by Spain, has signed a two-year contract at Blackburn.

Blackburn manager Graeme Souness said: "De Pedro is a proven player at the highest level and he is someone our fans should be very excited about. He has got terrific ability with his left foot."
