Monaco youngster heads to Istres

FC Istres have signed Laurent Mohellebi from AS Monaco FC and José Gaspar has joined AC Ajaccio.

Newly-promoted FC Istres have signed 20-year-old midfield player Laurent Mohellebi from AS Monaco FC on a three-year contract.

Highly promising
Former French youth international Mohellebi started just one game for the UEFA Champions League finalists in his début season last year; a French League Cup match against Olympique de Marseille.

Gaspar signs
Meanwhile, AC Ajaccio have signed José Gaspar from Portuguese team Gil Vicente FC. Ajaccio, who finished 15th last season and narrowly avoided returning to Ligue 2, have signed the 29-year-old defender on a three-year contract.
